The novel By These Limbs, now Half a Cup of Sand and Sky, was shortlisted for the Pen Bellwether Prize for Socially Engaged Fiction established by Barbara Kingsolver

Half a Cup of Sand and Sky won silver in the 2024 IBPA Benjamin Franklin Bill Fisher Award for Best First Book (Fiction)

 

Half a Cup of Sand and Sky was selected as a finalist for the 2023 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Awards (General Fiction).
 

Half a Cup of Sand and Sky was selected as a five-star Readers' Favorite and 2024 Readers' Favorite Finalist in the Fiction - Cultural genre.
 

Half a Cup of Sand and Sky was also long-listed for the  Bath Novel Award and the Mslexia Novel Competition under the title By These Limbs.

The novel The Point Where the Light Breaks came second place and received an honorable mention in the Geneva Literary Prize for Fiction.
