The novel By These Limbs, now Half a Cup of Sand and Sky, was shortlisted for the Pen Bellwether Prize for Socially Engaged Fiction established by Barbara Kingsolver.

 

Half a Cup of Sand and Sky was also long-listed for the  Bath Novel Award and the Mslexia Novel Competition under the title By These Limbs.

Half a Cup of Sand and Sky was selected as a finalist for the 2023 INDIES Book of the Year Awards.
 

Half a Cup of Sand and Sky was selected as a five-star Readers' Favorite.
 

The novel The Point Where the Light Breaks came second place and received an honorable mention in the Geneva Literary Prize for Fiction.
